An interesting documentary that charts the changes in NYC from the 1970s to the present via a single immigrant theater owner. This starts out a bit slow, and Ferrara has no issues with inserting himself physically into the documentary instead of pretending to be detached. That takes a little getting used to but given who he is and his own experiences with NYC, it makes sense.
