Sergeant Tong is wracked with guilt after he unwittingly kills a young girl whilst capuring a criminal named Cheung. When the girl’s sister is later kidnapped in a ploy to get Cheung released, Sergeant Tong vows to find and rescue her before she comes to harm.

Viewing Notes
Not your standard Hong Kong crime action movie which is what the title would have you believe. With the exception of the bad guy awaiting trial whose actions are at the center of the plot, everyone is invested with some depth, trauma and guilt, even the primary antagonists, which makes this a pretty interesting watch. The little girl is so great too.
