Overview

The Third Master is considered to be the greatest sword master of the day. His displays of skill and strength bring armies of challengers to his door, seeking the title for themselves. I really like the story that drives this unique entry in the Shaw Brothers catalogue. It’s a great showcase for Derek Yee (David Chiang’s younger brother) backed up by appearances from Chiang, Ti Lung and Lo Lieh among others. Another interesting late ‘70s film that varies a lot from Shaw’s standard fare up to this point.
