Viewing Notes

Overall this is pretty good with some particularly unsettling death scenes in it. And yet there are some moments that are so poorly executed they’re laughable. Based on my notes from his other films I’ve watched, this seems to be the trend for this director. I’d still recommend this to anyone looking for new, interesting horror, but there are two scenes in particular that knocked this down a whole star for me. That library scene is gonna haunt me in the same way the ending to SAINT MAUD did though.
