David Nau leads a band of modern day pirates who raid yachts and sail boats of people on vacation in the Caribbean. When reporter Blair Maynard and his son arrive to investigate the mystery of the disappearing boats, Nau and his band of raiders decide to induct them into their tribe.

I remember this movie leaving an impression on me as a middle schooler. The opening scene is a lot more gruesome than I remembered, but then they don’t really carry that same level of violence throughout the rest of the movie; mainly it’s implied after that. A few more sparse interjections of that level of violence throughout would’ve done better for the film.
