Viewing Notes
For a film that was shot in a hurry and without much budget, this turned out pretty well. It’s not without its problems, mainly in that it’s sluggish at times, but the final act makes up for it. There are some gruesome kills that are more suggested than shown, but a couple got a push back into my seat reaction from me.
I’m going to have to try to track down more of Kurusawa’s films to watch, especially some of his V-cinema output which probably don’t have physical releases.
