A fascinating piece of Japanese anti-American propaganda featuring flying vultures with Mickey Mouse heads and Cuphead, who turns into a tank. Wow.

“After researching, this cartoon is actually from 1934 but depicts the future of 1936 as one where imperial Japan is attacked by the Americans. The title of the cartoon is オモチャ箱シリーズ第3話 絵本1936年 / Omochabako series dai san wa: Ehon senkya-hyakusanja-rokunen / Toybox Series 3: Picture Book 1936. The 1936 in the sky was reportedly a typo though, so I’m not entirely sure how that works with the name (unless it was intended to look like both 1936 and the actual words?).”
