Viewing Notes

I watched this one for the first time a few years ago and I still only remembered bits of it. Amazing. Definitely one of Di Leo’s better efforts. Luc Merenda is great as the incorruptible cop. The scene with his girlfriend is shockingly violent even though it’s not graphic or gory. The ending is pretty pessimistic even though they tack on a written prologue to make it less so.
