Viewing Notes

Loved this and can’t wait to own it and watch it again in the home theater! Great storytelling and myth-making, and a great sense of location, sets up the fantastic action set pieces that are reminiscent of an earlier era of Hong Kong action films with plenty of fun wire work and fight choreography.

I kept trying to place the actor playing King because he looked familiar. Come to find out that’s Philip Ng and he’s outstanding as Mr. Big’s second-in-command. He basically looks and acts like an ‘80s era Zac Effron on meth!

It’s always great to see Sammo Hung and he’s particularly fun to watch as the cowboy boot wearing Mr. Big.
