It’s funny that the first two films don’t really fit the perception everyone has of Jason. In fact this is the first movie where he’s the antagonist, looking to get revenge for the death of his mother. I also love that half the camp counselors go to a roadhouse and we never really see them again. After the first, this is my second favorite of the franchise.
