I’d give it a seven but it feels a little too paired down. Taking more time to develop the entire town situation as a backdrop to the primary characters would’ve helped. I don’t recall too much from the original movie and I’ve never read the book so I don’t have anything I’m trying to compare it to. I thought all the principal actors were great.
