Viewing Notes
An intricately woven police procedural with some folk horror overtones where nothing is wasted that makes it on screen, so paying attention to the details rewards the viewer. From the directors of INSIDE, LIVID, THE DEEP HOUSE, etc. but this isn’t like any of those movies. I liked this one a lot and it’s probably one of my favorites of the festival. It got great reactions from the crowd (as in people jumping and yelling at the really well done jump scares) which was a lot of fun.
