Viewing Notes

This is a bonus movie on disc four of the Tokusatsu set, which isn’t a Tokusatsu film at all. I’m guessing that’s why it’s listed as a bonus.

This is great ‘60s B-movie sci-fi fun with undersea humanoid creatures in costumes akin to Henshin Cyborg suits and a fun evil villain underwater lair.

Shinichi Chiba and Peggy Neal star as reporters investigating a mystery who get kidnapped and threatened with undergoing the same genetic procedure that has turned other captives into humanoid fishmen. Neal is great and a perfect compliment to Chiba. Too bad she only did a total of four movies.

This is another movie that would’ve been great on Saturday Morning Creature Feature.
