Viewing Notes
Anchored by a great performance by Mari Shirato in the titular role, this is an interesting tale of revenge featuring some fairly graphic, though censored, sex scenes and plenty of spraying blood. Despite all that it manages to be more than the sum of its genre parts and is poetic at times, partly due to the score and cinematography.
