That overview is misleading and reductive. The series takes an odd turn, moving the setting from Berlin to London and heavily featuring Peter Van Eyck as momma’s boy Bill Tern. His mother is a little eccentric and honestly doesn’t really ad much except for some light (very light) comedy. A pretty young Klaus Kinski is in this too. Overall, my least favorite of the series so far as it starts to really significantly stray from what made the Lang-directed Mabuse films so good.
