Overview
A futuristic underwater sea-lab is having problems with a UFO that’s parked between them and a nearby deep ocean trench. As they investigate, they attract the unwanted attention of a dangerous creature who puts the scientists and crew in danger.

Viewing Notes
This is the only feature in color from this Kino Lorber Sci-Fi Chillers set and it benefits from it in showing off the great creature design. Wende Wagner’s character, Sandra Welles, keeps your attention while the two dickhead male leads try to outdo each other in being the biggest asshole on the vessel. Ah the 1960s.
This movie is notable however for featuring James Wong as the underwater research station’s cook. One of the earlier movies I’ve seen him in, though he started his career in the early ‘50s, so he had plenty of roles before this one.
