Viewing Notes

I really like Margaret Field as Professor Eliot’s daughter and minder, Enid. She’s a fairly well empowered female character which is downright rare in ‘50s cinema, especially low budget sci-fi. the alien is uniquely funky. I also really liked the whole tank adjustment scene when they first confront the alien. Again, that’s a rare moment in ‘50s sci-fi.
