Viewing Notes

The final chapter in the story of the Iron Angels, Hong Kong’s kinda answer to Charlie’s Angels but with both genders. This time out we’re missing Elaine Lui with no explanation. However, Kharina Isa is back in a supporting role, though she doesn’t get much dialogue or very much to do. Lui is replaced by Ralph Chen playing agent Kwai, a junior sidekick who’s largely there for some comedic relief. He’s no Lui and that’s part of why this movie doesn’t work quite as well as the first two films.

I’d rank the three in order with the first being my favorite, the second my second favorite, etc. I think they made the right choice to end the series here.

That all being said, there are some fun action set pieces in this, including the over-the-top park grounds assault scene with jet packs no less!
