Viewing Notes

The last short from the first disc of the Buster Keaton shorts collection (five discs total) and this one is pretty fun. All of these Arbuckle-directed shorts are great in that Roscoe Arbuckle is the star but he leaves plenty of room to show of the talents of his cousin Al St. John and his friend and protege, Buster Keaton. Every short so far has had significant roles for all three.

The first five shorts from this disc were all from 1917; this is the first one from 1918.
