Overview
The superhero Starman is sent by the Emerald Planet to protect Earth from belligerent aliens from the Sapphire Galaxy. The Sapphireans (or “Spherions”) kidnap Dr. Yamanaka and force him to use his spaceship against the Earth.

Viewing Notes
An interesting, rudimentary, sometimes clumsy, sci-fi/superhero movie that’s been stitched together from, I think, three episodes of the serial STARMAN. The first of three “movies” I bought as a cheap DVD set since these aren’t available in any other format. I’d love to see them in their original language but not sure the movies exist that way or not. Maybe only the series episodes do.
