Overview
An attorney arrives at a castle to settle the estate of its recently deceased owner. The owner’s wife and daughter reveal that he was someone who was able to summon the souls of ancient plague victims and, in fact, his spirit was roaming the castle at that very moment. Soon occupants of the castle begin to die off in gruesome, violent ways.

Viewing Notes
Another extra on the NIGHTMARE CASTLE disc, including deleted scenes. It’s not bad, but a little underwhelming. The kills are fun. The deleted scenes really fill out the story a little more and I think it’s a better movie with them in it.
The scan is from an American print and rough in a few places, including an extended section where there’s damage to the sound that’s equivalent to a record scratch; and a few seconds where a significant chunk of the print is missing.
