Viewing Notes

Great to be able to see this in The Big Show. Very sparse crowd but it was a Tuesday night so maybe that’s why?

The fight scenes look, sound and feel brutal and realistic. Johnson and Blunt both do excellent work. While Johnson’s appearance is the work of an excellent makeup and prosthetics team, he also does a great job really dissolving himself into Kerr, to the point I kind of forgot it was The Rock, which is great. Not an easy thing to do and not a safe role for him to take on.
