Viewing Notes

An astounding, incongruous piece of cinema that places as much importance, if not more, on form as it does function. Using repetition in both sound and editing reminiscent in spirit of Burroughs’ cutup technique combined with a restless documentary-style cinematography that heavily features claustrophobic closeups of its subjects, Królikiewicz manages to create art that heightens the storytelling.
