Viewing Notes

After the marathon ended I had a bit of a second wind; and seeing Anton Diffring reminded me that I hadn’t gotten to this in October, so it seemed the perfect thing to throw on. Having never seen this before I can’t speak to the quality of the 4K versus what was available before but it looks pretty good. The practical effects, used sparingly, look great and the final act is every thing you hope for. The story has some kinship to the story in FRANKENSTEIN and THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, as well as THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GREY.
