Viewing Notes

I have fond memories of watching a way-too-dark print of Escape from New York at a drive-in theater back in the day, but remember hating Escape From L.A. when I saw it at the theater. I decided to give it another chance and actually quite enjoyed it this time around.

The SFX don’t hold up so well, and maybe they didn’t even back in 1996, but still a fun post-apocalyptic movie. Have no idea why I hated it so much the first time round.
