Viewing Notes
A well shot black and white thriller that I’d been meaning to watch for a long time. Ethel Barrymore is especially effective in a supporting role as the sickly Mrs. Warren.
The Spiral Staircase takes some unexpected turns and features strong female characters for its time. Well worth watching. I may try to track down and watch some of the remakes as well.
