Viewing Notes

I was excited to catch this on TCM as it’s one of a handful of Fuller films I’d yet to see. The Steel Helmet doesn’t disappoint. It’s one of the best war films ever; a cynical, realistic portrait of the Korean War.

Gene Evans gives a powerful performance in the lead role as Sgt. Zack.
