The first film in a kung fu double feature presented by the Chicago Cinema Society. Fist of the White Lotus (aka Clan of the White Lotus) was paired with Master of the Flying Guillotine, both incredibly rare 35mm prints.
It was great to see two classic early ‘80s kung fu movies projected from original 35mm prints in the historic Portage Theater in Chicago.
I’m glad my friend Jay convinced me to go!
