Viewing Notes

I chose this a bit of a time killer before I had to drive into Chicago for a screening of Wonder Women. Its running time fit the bill.

The plot has to do with a downed military aircraft carrying a nuclear weapon that must be recovered. The plane crashed in the Northern Japanese Alps though, so it takes some effort to get to, and there are “Northern” enemies rushing to get there first.

The plot is fine, and sounds like you could get a decent thriller out of it, but the whole thing is so overwrought and melodramatic that it really weighs down the action. The result is a pretty mediocre film.
