Viewing Notes
It’s hard for me to be objective about this film since they actually kill real animals (sharks, rays, fish, sea turtles) for the sake of the movie. That bothered me a LOT.
Removing that from the equation leaves you with a ‘70s era nihilistic film about two guys who prey on women just as much as they do the sharks they hunt for nothing more than fun.
The fact that everyone involved gets their comeuppance by the end of the film is probably the only really satisfying part of the movie.
