The best of the three films I watched at Noir City, though Phantom Lady was a very close second, The Window is full of excellent on-location cinematography, including some great NYC night scenes.
There is a shot, from the top of the elevated train station stairs, that is almost identical to a shot in Phantom Lady (and probably lots of other NYC based movies over the years).
The final chase scenes are full of excellent tension and again are really well shot. It was a treat to see a restored 35 mm print of this film.
