Starts off a little heavy handed in terms of setting up the reasons for Rachel Weisz’s character’s motivations, but does actually turn into a pretty good drama/thriller.
Some obvious questions arise during certain plot points that I think we can take for granted are contrived for the sake of making a movie out of real people’s misery.
As with most movies that deal with heavy social issues, it was at times disturbing and difficult to watch, and probably not something I’d care to revisit again. Weisz does a pretty decent job with a frustrating role.
