Finally finishing my Anaconda project with a revisit to the first film and easily the best of the lot. Here the practical snake effects are so much better than the later all CGI snakes. Except of course when they use a CG snake here (underwater scenes). Great cast. Delightfully evil Jon Voight. Also worth mentioning that this is one of the better monster animal films that most current films are still trying to emulate.
