Viewing Notes

Third film in my Thanksgiving Kurosawa project. For his first film, Kurosawa really knocks it out of the park. This is a very good film. Great even. The story and acting are exceptional. If this hasn’t been remade I can’t understand why not. The story is so good. Almost don’t believe that this is his first feature film.
