Viewing Notes
Finally started my holiday Johnny To project and kicked off this flick. Decided a while back that To films are a huge blind spot in my HK viewing. Not sure why I’ve lacked viewing his films considering he’s so prolific but most of his work I haven’t seen. So I decided this would be my next “holiday” project much like my recent Kurosawa project. Great film to start things. Definitely style over substance but what style there is. Great flick.
