Overview
Marina, 23, is growing up with her architect father in a prototype factory town by the sea. Finding the human species strange and repellent, she keeps her distance…that is until a stranger comes to town and challenges her to a foosball duel, on her own table. Her father, meanwhile, ritualistically prepares for his exit from the 20th century, which he considers to be “overrated.”

Viewing Notes
Returned from Austin in time for the start of the Greek Film Festival. The film I really wanted to see was this one and much like Dogtooth, it’s unique and unpredictable. While not near the level of Dogtooth, Attenberg is still quite good for what it does offer. I like the relationship between the sisters and how they deal with their life and ailing father. Def worth a look.
