Viewing Notes

Goes without saying that Circus of Horrors is a serious creepfest and had me cringing. Love when a 1960 film can do that. Any plastic surgery/circus flick will probably have that effect. Really solid thriller. Directed by Sidney Hayers and featuring a manic Anton Diffring as the evil plastic surgeon, this is one film that could easily be remade today, most likely as a good TV horror film. Only negative is that baby Donald Pleasence isn’t featured enough.
