Got this b/c I’ve seen the trailer so many times before other DVDs/Blu-rays and it was just sitting on the quick pick shelf. Advertising works! Of course, no one’s getting a cent from my library borrow. Anyways, the film. Yeah, great cast and some nice acting even if most of these actors didn’t have do much but look mad or upset or serious or intense. The story? That’s a problem b/c we never fully understand the implications other than rich white people will lose millions of dollars and their jobs yet get nice exit payouts in the millions. Not sure who watching will identify w/that and sympathize. Then again, maybe that’s the point; we can’t sympathize w/those that will fuck over the market and pocket millions. If so, they didn’t do a good enough job hammering that home w/these characters and story.
