Last film for my LVC project! That makes 12 total. Not bad. I think I’ve seen this before b/c parts I recall then again I used to watch the original and its sequel quite a bit when I was a kid. I like Van Cleef in a leadership role directing traffic. Was surprised to see Ed Lauter and James Sikking show up.
Premise is as expected but a nice touch using the convicts to round out the seven. Stefanie Powers is also a pretty surprise. Not sure why LVC needed a hairpiece for this role unless the idea of having hair equals authority. But he doesn’t need that b/c he exudes that quality.
This is not a great film compared to the others but still quite fun w/the women helping the men set the traps. After all the build-up the finale feels rushed but it’s still a fun viewing.
