Put this one off far too long… tonally odd since it’s mostly a slowburn drama but the few moments of humor seem out of place (ie. the bumbling yakuza). I do like seeing Miike acting here even tho he doesn’t do much. This film is really all Tadanobu Asano and Sinitta Boonyasak. I like the Thai/Japan mixed production. It’s a wonderfully shot film. Def a mood movie.
