Another pre-code Warner Archive Instant title for my afternoon viewing… will be sad when my beta ends in a couple of days. Quite a nice departure from the upper class pieces I’ve seen recently from this time period; this is a true living-the-depression-era boys-on-the-run flick.
Wasn’t sure how this fit into the Pre-Code category until the freight car scene and implied rape. Generally dug this film and the struggle these kids are facing while at the same time wanting to help their families. Paints a decent picture of that period. Good watch.
