When I heard Warner Instant was still running, acknowledged by them in fact, I couldn’t resist knocking down another pre-code flick w/Cagney. Having only seen two of his films I’m wondering if portrays any other character besides a small time crook. At least he’s good at it and the core of this film, which is quite entertaining w/the unexpected turns it takes. Also a great cast of ladies around him.
