Overview
Kristen, a troubled young woman, is captured by the police after burning down a farmhouse and is locked in the North Bend Psychiatric Hospital. Soon, she begins to suspect that the place has a dark secret at its core and she’s determined to find out what it is.

Viewing Notes
Well, I’ll give John Carpenter an “A” for throwing himself back into the fold even if this is the result. Not that this is bad b/c there are some nice touches but it’s a little too on point and a little too overly complicated when it’s not. Not at all. The spin here becomes evident in the first act. After that it’s all downhill and less good. But I’m happy we have a new Carpenter flick.
