Second official film in my Bronson project. CB doesn’t have a big role here but substantial surrounded by an excellent cast. I give a half-star bump for that alone. Pretty alarming film for its time. Broderick Crawford steals the film from Ralph Meeker. Lon Chaney Jr. is good character as well.
Def a worthwhile film that spins from a child kidnapping to a prison break among some clever convicts. Still wish Bronson was given more screen time b/c he’s a bad ass here.
