Viewing Notes

Third and final film of the Albert Pyun Triple Feature event at the Patio Theater. I haven’t seen this film but I have seen the sequel. Glad to get a chance to see in the theater even if it was a questionable presentation and the 2.0 version that Pyun created to update the film.

Crazy the cast of this film. That alone makes it worth seeing even if Gruner is a bit of a dud as an action lead. Here he’s got a great supporting cast to amp up the film. I’m gonna watch my [now autographed] VHS tape soon to compare both. Also should look a lot better too. Deborah Shelton looked pretty amazing in 1992!

That’s it for the Triple Threat! So glad I could make it despite having to cut out of the Sci-Fi Spectacular. The movies were fine but it was really about meeting Albert and Cynthia, truly wonderful people who drove all the way from California for the event. I just wish more people would have came out for it and / or it wasn’t at the same time as the SFS event.
