Overview
Triad boss Lung, who has just escaped being killed in an assassination attempt hires the killers Curtis, James, Mike, Roy and Shin for his protection. Their grown solidarity is under compulsion when Lung orders Curtis to kill Shin in punishment for his affair with Mrs. Lung.

Viewing Notes
For my lovehkfilm top 200 project (and late Johnnie To Winter project). Gotta say I wasn’t into this film over the first half but it turns a corner and I was way into it. My style over substance but that’s some beautiful style by To. His shot composition is a true delight. I know we’ve seen this scenario before (City on Fire immediately comes to mind) but when it’s done this well I’m okay with it.
Anthony Wong, Francis Ng and Simon Yam are all great here. Worthy inclusion into the lovehkfilm top 200.
