This is the fourth and final film on the Kung-Fu flipper DVD I got from Netflix. Finished it off this morning and it may be my favorite of the four. This is probably due to the fantasy elements playing a big part in addition to the kung-fu fighting, which is pretty good plus Polly Shang!
Dorian Tan is our main dude who searches for the 18 Stone Warriors to gain new skills and improve his kung-fu. That segment of the film is the best as he encounters flame breathing skulls and the stone warriors until finally facing off with his father.
There’s also a pretty good battle at the end of the film. The version on this flipper disc was severely cropped to full-screen from a wide screen print. I’d love to see the widescreen version of this.
Don’t get the hate / bad reviews I’ve seen for this film People really must hate fantasy and fun.
