Viewing Notes

About me, I enjoy getting and watching crummy low budget sci-fi junk such as this. Here we have a blonde bombshell secret agent that recruits a team of female bounty hunters in order to rescue her father and ultimately destroy his captors.

Same plotting pattern as low budget science fiction films from every prior decade; put together some hot women in tight space outfits and have them square off against wacky space hoods. Pretty familiar territory and nothing here to elevate that subgenre. But it’s what I expected and it delivers.

I give credit to Shelley Michelle who penned this film as a vehicle for herself to star; she’s fine as the Amazon goddess heroine that saves the day. And at 42 years old you wouldn’t think it at all. Maybe this was a way for her to prove that just because women get older doesn’t mean that they still can’t kick ass and look great doing it. On a meager budget the film accomplishes what it needs to. And it’s entirely watchable for those reasons.

Funny to see Stacy Keach in this, the only “known” actor of the group. He probably has 5 minutes of total screen time so I wondered if he owed somebody a favor.
