It’s been a long time since I’ve viewed this… which seems odd but I’ve seen this film so many times that I probably needed that long break. Saw this 3 or 4 times upon its original release including a free screening prior to its release courtesy of my comic shop in Albany, NY. I subsequently bought the LaserDisc and recorded soundbites for my mix tapes.

The movie was recently released on Blu for cheap so why not double dip. Really fun (and nostalgic) revisit for me. One of the few films that can immediately take me back to a point and place in my life. It’s not a perfect film but so entertaining with some true comic book characters coming to life. I just adore Michael Wincott in this role so goddamned much.
