Odd dramedy rom-com not because of the subject matter but rather it looks 10 years older than it is (feels more like a 1960 film than a 1970 film). I honestly thought it was until I looked it up. Bronson looks younger and Susan George looks much younger and closer to the 16 year old she portrays in the film.
But get this, Bronson is supposed to be 38 or so in the film yet he was 48 at the time of the filming. George was 29! She really looks more like 18, no more than 20. Crazy. Anyways besides that fascination the movie is just so-so and not very dangerous as you may think w/the Lola thing. It’s more of “oh who will be shocked by relationship now?”
And it doesn’t really have an ending. Just kinda muddles along with Susan George being an idiot. Bit of a disappointment.
